The tune Baby it's Cold Outside was written in 1944 by Frank Loesser and in 1949 won an Academy Award for Best Original Song, performed by two duos: Ricardo Montalban with Esther Williams and Red Skelton with Betty Garrett. Since then the song has been recorded by dozens of duos and made it to Billboard's Best Seller list four times.
