These gorgeous dew dropped pink roses are a variety named Favorite, hybridized by Louis Lens in 1980. Louis was the third generation of rose breeders in the Lens family. His father, Victor Lens, was the most famous rose breeder in the Benelux countries.
The Lens Rose nursery, founded in 1870, was originally located in Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-Waver. In 1992 it was sold to Rudy and Ann Valle Velle-Boudolf who moved it to Oudenburg, Belgium (between Bruges and Ostend).
Pop one of these magnets in a greeting card, and you have an inexpensive but thoughtful gift for a birthday or Mother's Day.

Photography by Eddy Van Leuven of Flanders, Belgium. Van Leuven has been taking photos since childhood, a hobby shared with his father, who gave him his first camera.
I am proud to display a bit of his work. I especially like his nature and architectural photos. And his people. Basically I think he's a genius.
See more of Van Leuven's work.
