Ellen Terry (1847-1928) was a famous British Victorian era actress, best known for her Shakespearean roles and association with the Henry Irving Theatre Company. Later in her life she also appeared in films, produced and lectured.

In this 1892-3 photo Terry plays Catherine of Aragon in Shakespeare's Henry VIII, presented at the Lyceum. Henry Irving played Cardinal Wolsey.
