Magnet features a jaunty garden snail.
Garden snails (Helix aspersa, also known as Brown Garden Snail and European Brown Snail) live on land and can travel up to 50 yards per hour. They can spend a day on mating and become pregnant as well as impregnate their mate. About 6 times a year they lay approximately 80 eggs in 1-1/2" deep holes. They're the bane of produce growers in California.
They're also eaten in many countries around the world.
