The ad boasts of Kalamazoo Tank & Silo (KTS) Company's gold metal at the 1904 St. Louis Worlds Fair so was probably produced 1905-10. The Kalamazoo Tank & Silo Company was founded in 1867 as the Williams, Smith & Co., producing windmills. In the late 1890s it became the country's first manufacturer of silos. In subsequent years they would add ensilage cutters, construction tiles and in the 1930s, metal-cutting bandsaws.
