3" x 2-1/2" refrigerator magnet, "HOME IS WHERE THE HEDGEHOG IS." According to Wikipedia, there are 16 species of hedgehog, none of which are native to Australia, New Zealand or North America. Most popular today is one called an "African Pygmy." Reportedly, today's hedgehog isn't much changed from his ancestors of 15 million years ago. FYI, they came to be called hedgehogs in the 1400's after a history of being known as furzepig, urchin and hedgepig.
Have to love a creature who rolls into a ball when it doesn't like what it finds in its world, I'd like to do the same, just need to figure out how to grow spines :)
