This refrigerator magnet depicts the world's most famous vampire, Bela Lugosi (1882-1856). Though also a gifted Hungarian Shakespearian actor, Lugosi is best remembered for playing Count Dracula.

Bela emigrated to America in 1921 and became a U.S. citizen in 1931, the same year he starred in Tod Browning's Dracula for Universal Pictures. It would be followed by , Murders in the Rue Morgue, The Raven and Son of Frankenstein. Lugosi movies by other movie studios included The 13th Chair, The Black Cat, The Invisible Ray, The Black Sheep and The Return of Chandu.

The Lugosi family maintains a great Bela Lugosi website for fans that is definitely worth visiting. Bela's grandson, Tim, developed the site and did a super job. Don't skip the opening, it's worth waiting for.
