The film was directed by Joseph Levigard, who was related to one of Universal's owners, Carl Laemmle. In addition to Wells, Derelys Perdue, Al Ferguson, Clark Comstock and Bud Osborne starred.
Wikipedia has a great story about Derelys. She once sued Joseph Kennedy because he wanted her to change her name to Ann.
