Olga Petrova was the stage name of Muriel Harding )1884-1977), who immigrated from England to the U.S. to become a vaudeville star. She appeared in her first silent film in 1912 and went on to become the first diva at Metro Pictures. (Metro was founded the year this photo was taken.) She appeared in over 20 movies and wrote scripts for several others. At the end of her film career in 1918 she turned to Broadway. In the 1920s she toured and wrote 3 plays. Her autobiography, Butter With My Bread, was published in 1942.
