| Item | Wounded but very functional wastebasket from an old classroom, manufactured by Lawson. It will fail as an ice bucket or water pail but will do a fine job of holding paper trash, potatoes, skeins of yarn, toys, dog toys or pine cones. |
| Composition | Polished steel |
| Condition | A cluster of small holes around the bottom edge (see close up photos) make it unsuitable for containing liquids but it is quite sturdy despite the holes and if you like objects that demonstrate a past life, displays nicely. |
| Age | 1950s estimated |
| Size | 11.5" high x 12" diameter x 7 lbs. |
