Old lamp, reportedly from an airport runway though efforts to verify that have not been successful. The shade consists of 2 glass globes, an outer bell globe and an inner hob-nail cone shaped globe.
The metal tag identifies it as a product made by Westinghouse Electric of Massachusetts, style 1217231, No. 22925 and what looks to be a date, 7-23-36. Usually that much detail would turn up info on the web; not so in this case. I did, however, find advertisements and other paper ephemera verifying the company's involvement in airport lighting c1927-1932.
