Swag lamp designed to be hung from a ceiling hook and plugged in to a wall socket. Lamps such as this were made in a variety of quality levels in the 70s. This is one of the better examples and would have been sold in a high end department store -- where this writer, a struggling young married then, would have regretted being unable to take it home :)
