Giant sized male mold pattern for a steam trap in a commercial building. Was manufactured by Watson McDaniel, a company founded in 1878, still in operation in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Sorry, don't know what type of steam trap this is but Wikipedia offers information about steam traps. The same sentence of information about Watson McDaniel appears over and over again on the web, and nothing more about the firm's history.
Is presently equipped to hang horizontally but it looks great vertically so you can easily move the eyelets if you prefer it that way.
