Each magnet is 1-5/8" x 6" All three feature poet The Hoosier Poet, James Whitcomb Riley (1849-1916).
Riley was the fellow who gave us "Little Orphan Annie," The Raggedy Man," "When the Frost is on the Punkin" and many dozens more that have entertained generations of children and their parents.
One pictures a medallion created by Lorado* Taft in 1915 to honor Riley on his 66th birthday. Another contains the poem, "The Bat."
The last pictures Riley and mentions some of his best known works.
"The Bat" is very unlike Riley but I love the last line: Thou Devil's self, or brat, at least, Grate not they teeth at me!
* Taft's first name is commonly spelled both Loredo and Lorado but Lorado is the correct spelling. A bit of trivia: It was Lorado/Loredo's first medallion.
