Model F spotlight manufactured by the Ultra-Violet Generator Corp. of Chicago, possibly for quasi medical purposes. A company by this name patented another light in the 1930s, indicating the age of this one as well.
Nicely sized for the desk or nightstand.

Condition

All functions work properly. Has been rewired with period-appropriate fabric wrapped wire. Copper shade has been polished but not lacquered. In the next year the copper will gradually tarnish. When it reaches a color you like, wax it with furniture polish such as Pledge to stop the tarnishing. |
