This trio of magnets is a tribute to the Metlox china pattern known as Poppy Trail Contempora. Metlox Pottery, based in Manhattan Beach, California, was founded in 1927 by T.C. Prouty and his son, Willis. Exterior ceramic signs were the original product line. Dinnerware pottery production began in 1931 and the first series was named Poppytrail. By its demise in 1970, the company produced many of today's most popular vintage dinnerware series
