This magnet depicts a painting from the 15th century by an Austrian artist, Michael Pacher (1435-1498). With that green body and wings, the Devil looks like something from a 1980s Martian video game.
Depicted is the Devil is showing Saint Wolfgang his Book of Vices. The painting is part of a large group of panels for the high altar display at the Church of St. Wolfgang on the Abersee in Alzkammergut, Austria, executed around 1480, Pacher's best known work, and can still be viewed today at the Alte Pinakothek in Munich, Germany. The altarpiece was commissioned in 1471 and ten years went into its production. Saint Wolfgang (924-994) is known as The Almoner and Grand Almoner.
Magnet size: 3-1/2" x 3-1/2 (8.89cm x 8.89cm)

Some close ups. Note the observers standing on the suspended walkway in the background. Looks like a clown talking to a 19th century Parisian, with a girl resting her head on the railing. Huh?
